Thoracocentesis
A procedure called a thoracocentesis is used to identify diseases of the chest cavity. Additionally, it can reduce a fluid buildup in the chest known as effusion. Thoracocentesis is a minimally invasive procedure that frequently does not call for the use of sedatives or anaesthetics.
